Trail User Guide

 

Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Respectful

The Oxford Area Trail is our community trail system.

Please follow these guidelines so that everyone can enjoy them!

 

• Open dawn to dusk.

• Stay on the trail.

• Pedestrians have the right of way.

• Keep to the right. Announce when passing “on your left”.

• Keep pets on a short leash and under control. Pick up pet waste and discard in receptacles.

• Pack out your litter.

• Class 1 and 2 electric assist vehicles under 20 MPH are permitted.

• No motorized vehicles (i.e. ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc)

• No smoking on the trail. Smoking is restricted to parking areas.
